Amouranth’s Twitch Ban: The Latest NSFW Incident Involving The Busty Streamer

Home » Amouranth’s Twitch Ban: The Latest NSFW Incident Involving The Busty Streamer

In the live streaming world, it can be effortless to garner viral popularity. Most female streamers play the card of their natural assets and some flirt with downright eroticism as a selling point. Amouranth’s Twitch ban involves just such a strategy, which has backfired on the streamer more than once.

Her real name is Kaitlyn Siragusa, and she’s been streaming since 2016. Siragusa has garnered a faithful following across numerous social media throughout her career, including Twitch, Instagram, Twitter, and the like.

Simultaneously, Amouranth has also been no stranger to clashes with the Twitch platform. These incidents mostly included NSFW, sensuality, and nudity. Here are the juicy details on the hot streamer’s numerous bans.

Amouranth’s Twitch ban no 1.

The first ban from the popular streaming platform for Siragusa happened on September 9, 2019. The community refers to the incident as a result of “accidental nudity,” but there are always those who suspect the “accidental” part. It remains unclear if this occurrence was a deliberate incident intended to go viral or a real accident.

It was just another stream for Siragusa, this time playing with her dog. The streamer was attempting an ASMR session with her pet and laid down on the floor to play. Minutes into the session, Siragusa sat up to change her position, causing her short skirt to move to the side.

During the stream, followers tried to chat to the streamer about what had happened, but it was too late. Several streamers recorded the session, and even though Twitch removed the clip soon after, the historic moment is still available online.

Needless to say, the internet loved the Amouranth accidental stream reveal. The clip soon found its way into Reddit and numerous other platforms, including several porn sites. However, despite countless fans having a field day with the situation, the more conservative ones quickly jumped to report Siragusa to the platform.

Amouranth’s Twitch ban #1 lasted for three days and ended on September 12, 2019. The streamer suffered a three-day ban from the platform for violating Twitch’s community guidelines.

Amouranth’s Twitch ban no. 2

On March 12, 2020, Siragusa suffered another ban from Twitch. Compared to the first ban, the second incident only lasted for a day (one day, three hours, and twenty minutes, to be precise). Initially, the reason for the second ban remained obscured.

Siragusa’s streams are famously ASMR, fitness, and dance-themed, so it stood to reason that the prohibition similarly had to do with exaggerating in one of these factors.

The news regarding the ban first broke out on Twitter on the StreamerBans account.

This account is famous among Twitch followers for monitoring Twitch partners’ activities and informing fans about any changes to the accounts, including bans and unbans.

The streaming platform immediately notifies banned users via email to let them know of the ban’s reason. However, the users are under no obligation to reveal that reason publicly. Merely hours before the second Amouranth’s Twitch ban, she was actively promoting her Patreon page on Twitter.

Facing confusion, the streamer’s fans took to Reddit to find answers, where user Tupetsa shared Siragusa’s statement, allegedly from her Discord server. The statement read, “Hi everyone. I have been told that I’m being suspended for something that happened during a gym stream last week. I haven’t seen the vid yet. Waiting for them to show me so I can appeal. I don’t have much more information than that. The longest it can be is three days.”

Since the streamer regularly tiptoes along the thin border between NSFW and openly erotic content, her second ban likely also had to do with her crossing the line again. Regardless, the platform deemed her second violation less offensive than the first one and unbanned the streamer’s account after a mere day.

Amouranth’s Twitch ban no. 3

However, it didn’t take the streamer long before earning a third ban from the popular streaming platform. Siragusa’s third strike on Twitch was supposed to result in more severe punishment, but she once again got away with a day-long restriction on accessing her channel (May 10 – May 11, 2020).

Like her previous bout with the platform, fans took to social media to raise an alarm that the streamer’s profile was unavailable. User Andrew george Cupples (@cupples_andrew) took to Twitter on May 11 and tweeted, “What happened? Because I cannot find Amouranth with Twitch. Either I am banned from Amouranth channel with Twitch, or Amouranth is banned from Twitch. What did I do or what happened???

This time around, it didn’t take Siragusa long to reply to her fan’s tweet by stating, “I’ll be back tonight, one day ban.” Regardless of her prompt response, the globally famous 26-year-old streamer star did not initially provide additional information on what caused the ban.

Shortly after Amouranth’s Twitch ban no.3, Siragusa mentioned in a subsequent ASMR stream that the incident occurred while she was reading through “ban appeals.” These appeals include unbanning requests from banned users in a chat.

While going through the requests, the streamer encountered a user who had concealed an explicit image in their profile picture. When Amouranth opened the user’s request, the photo automatically popped up in the live stream. The troll deliberately created this situation and then reported the streamer’s channel when she reviewed the explicit picture.

During her May 12 ASMR stream, following her account’s unbanning, Siragusa said, “Yay, power to the trolls. I get in trouble for it because someone else was a moron.

Final Thoughts

There is no doubt that every single Amouranth’s Twitch ban wreaked havoc on the streamer’s plans for popularity. On the other hand, considering the nature of most of Siragusa’s streams and social media profiles, she understands that sex and scandals sell.

The streamer most likely did not intend to display her private parts online, even by accident. After all, she could have displayed more erotic or lewd pictures and videos elsewhere online, including numerous porn sites that would have been happy to have her. Instead, Siragusa continuously chooses only to tickle the fans’ minds with borderline suggestive photos, never crossing the threshold of pornography.

Regardless, she has capitalized from each of her scandals in more ways than one. Fans continue to adore the streamer and show no signs of stopping to do so in the future.
